Product Description
Copper slag is a by-product of the copper smelting process, which contains a lot of iron oxide (Fe2O3). By using copper slag as a raw material for cement clinker production, the iron oxide can be reduced to metallic iron by carbon or hydrogen, which can be used as a source of iron for the formation of clinker minerals, such as alite and belite. This can reduce the consumption of iron ore and limestone, and lower the burning temperature and energy consumption of the clinker production.
